Toyota Etios Cross Pros and Cons

Etios Cross Positives Points: A genuinely spacious 5-seat car, it offers lots of storage spaces - a 13-litre cooled glovebox and 251 litres of bootspace! Engine and transmission are tuned for city driving. It gets features like electrically adjustable ORVMs, powerful A/C and steering-mounted multimedia controls. Good all round visibility, comfortable ride and neutral handling are also areas where it scores more brownie points. While safety features include ABS+EBD, dual airbags, three-point seatbelts for all rear passengers offered as standard, the Etios Cross is backed up by a dependable Toyota quality, service network and affordable parts.

Etios Cross Negatives Points: The design looks dated, now that the Liva has been given a facelift. No touchscreen infotainment system. Ground clearance and suspension setting remain the same as the hatchback, no additional capability off-road. Cost cutting prevents it from feeling premium. Front seatbelts are not height adjustable, can be difficult to use for shorter drivers. No dead pedal or space to place left foot on longer drives. Powerful engines not on offer, not as fun to drive as it looks.

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Toyota Etios Cross straddles a price segment where the customer has a lot of choice, and even though this faux-crossover offers a bolder design than its hatchback sibling, it does not have any other feature to set it apart from everything else.

Healthy people

4.7

Its almost been 3 ears since I own this car. I would just like to say, that if you are looking for a car in this segment. This is a car to go for. Spacious (for sitting) even healthy people can sit comfortably. The plastic body if very strong to absorb all the minor impact due to dumps and hits on roads. Your car looks with not be impacted as the black plastic will remain as it is with all the hits. I accidentally jumped over a broken road during my trip to gujarat. I felt like driving a rally car. The car didnt had any damage (excellent shock absorbers). The seats are much more comfortable, the riding experience is excellent. What i didnt like:Small boot space Mileage (approx 13 on highway 9 in mumbai city - you know the traffic well)Spare tyre is a normal one not alloy

Very reliable car and has

4.3

Very reliable car and has fairly good looks with the cladding. The only drawback is the low ground clearance due to which at speed-breakers it tends to touch the underbelly unless you are dead slow and maneuver very carefully.

Slightest thing

4.3

A pretty good car overall, the plastic outside doesn"t do anything but make it look rugged. It actually gets damaged really quick by the slightest thing. Otherwise a pretty good car
