1. New Face:
A closer look at the spy images doing the rounds on the internet reveal that the New Age Mahindra XUV500 might get a new grille replacing the old body coloured one, and will now look similar to the New Mahindra Scorpio.
2. Refreshed headlights:
Though the shape of the head-lights seem to be similar to the older car, the ones on the New Mahindra XUV500 appear to be upgraded with smarter looking reprofiled cluster.
3. More Chrome:
As in most facelifts, there seems to be plenty of chrome accents used on the exterior of the New Age XUV500 – right from the door handles to the rear registration plate. To keep things interesting, Mahindra might also bring in new shape alloy wheels to keep the sporty theme going.
4. Updated interiors:
With the facelift, Mahindra will surely update the interior on the New Age Mahindra XUV500. We expect it to use some new colour combination and materials to make the cabin more appealing. As on most facelift models Mahindra will surely add a few new features on the SUV.
5. Same powerplant
The New Age Mahindra SUV500 2015 facelift will be powered by the same 2.2-litre 4-cylinder m-Hawk diesel engine capable of 140PS of peak power and 330Nm of maximum torque, but it will be interesting to see if Mahindra has fine tuned the motor for better NVH level and fuel efficiency.
