Maruti Ertiga facelift coming soon

Although, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is the top-selling MPV in its segment, it has been facing stiff competition from newer seven-seater models. To reinstate its segment dominance, India’s leading car manufacturer is giving the Maruti Ertiga a mild makeover.

The 2015 Maruti Suzuki Eritiga facelift has been spotted and pictures of the test mule have emerged online recently. The makeover would include a sportier front bumper with a more prominent lower lip, along with a new twin-slat grille. The Maruti Ertiga facelift will also sport new alloy wheels and even a redesigned rear bumper with chrome highlights around the fog lamps. Overall, the 2015 Eritga appears to be a bit more youthful than the existing model.

The new Maruti Ertiga facelift will come with a new top-end variant with more features such as electrical retractable and adjustable external view mirrors, Auto-Climatic control and new fabric for the upholstery. Also on offer will be a new AMT version of the 2015 Maruti Ertiga.

The current generation petrol and diesel engine options will continue to power the 2015 Ertiga facelift. Maruti engineers might tweak the ECU to further improve the fuel efficiency of the seven-seater. We expect the price to be hiked marginally when it is launched in the first quarter of 2015.
