Powering the behemoth is a 1043cc, DOHC, inline- four cylinder, liquid cooled motor boasting a power figure of 142PS @ 10,000rpm and torque rating of 111Nm @ 7,3000rpm which is mated to a six-speed transmission. Well these are numbers which can make any motorcycle enthusiasts eyes to light up. The Z1000 was would be brought to our country via CBU (completely built unit)  by India Kawasaki Motor so expect it to be priced at a premium. Since CBU doesn’t cost the company any investment in terms of assembling facility or production facility it is expected that Kawasaki would be adding new motorcycles to its portfolio in 2014. No details about the bikes pricing has been announced by the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer but we expect it to retail close to Rs 13 to 14 lakh and the Z1000 would be exclusively sold at the Kawasaki dealership in Wakdewadi, Pune.
