TVS Jupiter [2013-2024]

The Jupiter has been TVS’ highest selling scooter for quite some time now, raking in some pretty good numbers every month. In fact, it is the only scooter which gave the segment leader, the Honda Activa, any kind of competition with respect to sales. The USP of the Jupiter has been its extensive list of features such as an external fuel cap, a USB charging socket, reserve fuel light, power and eco mode indicator, pass light switch and the 12-inch alloy wheels. It is available in five variants: standard, ZX, ZX disc, Classic and Grande. The Grande variant is the top-of-the-line variant and features LED headlamp and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The 109.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine produces 8PS of power and 8Nm of torque and is at par with its competitors when it comes to performance. The large 12-inch wheels along with the telescopic forks at the front and the gas-charged monoshock at the rear offer supple ride quality. It features TVS’ Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT), which works the same way as CBS.
