Price: Suzuki Gixxer SF (Standard Edition) is priced at Rs 1,37,100 and Gixxer SF (Ride Connect Edition) comes at Rs 1,45,900 (prices ex-showroom Delhi).
Design: Suzuki Gixxer SF is a premium-looking, fully-faired motorcycle from the manufacturer. It gets edgy styling, with raised clip-on handlebars, a split-seat setup with split pillion-grab rails, which are colour-coded in one variant. It comes with a muscular fuel tank, with a 3D Suzuki logo on it. The bike even comes with a chrome muffler cover on its dual-outlet exhaust unit, further enhancing its premium appeal.
Features: The Suzuki Gixxer SF comes with LED headlight and tail-lamp units, with the turn-indicators being bulb-type units. It has an all-digital instrument cluster, which comes with optional Bluetooth connectivity, to provide Turn-by-turn navigation, Call/SMS alerts, phone battery level, ETA updates and over-speed alert. Apart from connected features, the console shows speed, tachometer, odometer/trip-metre readings, fuel level and gear position, along with the general trove of information. The bike also comes with a side-stand engine-kill function.
Engine: Suzuki Gixxer SF is powered by a single-cylinder, 155cc, air-cooled engine, which is linked to a 5-speed transmission. It produces 13.6PS and 13.6Nm, and the motor draws fuel from a 12 litre tank. Suspension duties on the SF are handled by a telescopic front fork and swingarm-mounted monoshock at the rear. Braking is looked after via disc-brake units at both ends. The bike rolls on 17 inch alloy wheels, which are wrapped in 100-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyres. It weighs 148kg (kerb), with a ground clearance of 165mm and seat height of 795mm.
Rivals: If you’re looking for affordable faired bikes, then the Hero Xtreme 200S is the only other alternative. Other options at its price point include the Yamaha FZ-X, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
Variants: Suzuki Gixxer SF is available in two variants: Standard Edition and Ride Connect Edition.
