Showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo for the first time in India, the BMW G 310 R is a motorcycle that has been highly anticipated by many bike enthusiasts. The G 310 R has been designed in Germany by BMW Motorrad and will be manufactured in India under a joint venture with TVS Motors. The motorcycle has made it first public debut at the 2015 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy. With styling cues borrowed from BMW Motorrad’s flagship model the S1000R, the G 310 R isn’t very aggressive but is definitely an appealing motorcycle. The engine powering the machine is a 313cc liquid cooled motor that develops 35PS of power and 28Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. A unique feature of the engine is that BMW has twisted the cylinder head by 180 degrees allowing a straight path for the air and fuel mixture. Here’s all you need to know on the BMW G 310 R.
