Driving Toyota Innova for a long time. It's a wonderful experience to have a Toyota product, Specially Innova, we have been on long drives a number of times with friends and family. The longest drive was to let trip with friends for 2 weeks, It was the toughest road experience with our Innova in 2011. Enjoyed driving in tough terrain, we did almost a 6000 km journey from Nagpur to Leh and back. Had been to national parks in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh no of times, Almost in all weather conditions another long journey to Tirupati Balaji, and twice to Rajasthan also. It was always fun in going long drives in a spacious and comfortable Innova. We can go on and on if writing our experience in a long drive. Difficult to even thought long road journeys without Innova. The only issue is it becomes difficult for you to drive other cars which are not spacious as Innova, you will like it cramped. Mileage is okay for the size of the MPV. Sometimes you feel it is less when we compare it with others those who are getting 18, 20, or even higher in a few cases. But my safety and comfort are paramount which we get in Toyota products only. Especially in Innova. Maintenance cost wise also Innova is a beautiful product, looking into its size and weight and after riding in almost all weather conditions, Different terrains, I feel we are paying a few bucks less than my friends who are using other brands with less space and seating capacity also. Engine performance is excellent there is always a difference between petrol and diesel car. Never has any issues. We have been on long drives in hot weather conditions of Vidarbha with 6 or 7 passengers and that too continues drive, It was always a pleasure. Really happy with the build quality of Innova. Had used Fortuner and Etios Cross also in family and friend circles. Never seen a Toyota product with sub-standard parts. It's amazing to drive Toyota products even after driving 2 or 3 lakh kms. You can understand the care taken while designing a car from all expectations. Every detail has been taken care of very well. The only issue is you can't for other brands after using Toyota.

The 2013 innova 2.5v is a real joy to drive.Despite its simpleton mpv looks it's an absolute fun to drive this on the roads.Be it long stretches or sharp bendy corners or hairpins the innova will take on em like a boss.The drive of the vehicle is what i really enjoy the momment you are in the driver seat and turn the keys and fire up the engine 2.5l turbo diesel comes to life with a heavy rumble and bass.And if you are diesel head you will really enjoy this part especially.As you stick into the 1st gear and let the clutch loose the transmission of power is just instantaneous and linear and yet there is subtle balance in its delivery she just takes off into the road.Initially whenever i drove the innova i felt the lack of power.But it was due to my inexperienced and immature drive style that caused this.And the more i drove it.I understood the engine better.And rather driving it like a petrol engine i drove the way a diesel engine should be driven.And that is by giving enough and more revs while attaining the right speeds to shift.Also you needn't always be at a higher gear while driving this.Its all about keeping the mechanicals in their sweet spot and if you keep the engine in its sweet spots which are the bottom and mid ends the innova really becomes an amazing machine to drive.The steering is really precise and gives enough information as well.Although i find slightly more on the heavier side and also a bit of hassle in manoeuvring in tight sity spaces.But it is possible to take this car anywhere due to its streamlined body.Also this being a rear wheel drive makes the innova that much fun to drive as well.The drive of the innova is so good that it has enough acceleration in the 5th gear to keep moving forward in the highways, You can do a 1000km journey without a break on the innova.Infact it can still hold off against modern cars in terms of performance and can outlast most of the vehicle sold in todays market.Its a lot better than owning a south korean tin can that has so many fancy features and no real drive.

The Innova (i own a 2012 model) is the most comfortable vehicle ever to have rolled on Indian roads. You can travel from Kashmir to Kanyakumari at a stretch (provided someone can drive) and still get off the vehicle and head to Vivekananda road immediately. But if you are a spirited driver, It gets the better of you. Feels quite sluggish. As a family car, I don't think anything can unseat this undisputed leader in the near future.

Good but need to know more to maintain this because some spare parts not even anywhere in karnataka (without showroom)

Very good car. The shock absorber is very good and ground clearance is also nice particularly in bengaluru roads.The car is also aerodynamically good in sharp left turns in highway when you travel above 120 kmph also.Very economical in maintenance.
