Odysse has launched the Vader, its newest neo-retro electric bike for the Indian market. More about it in our launch story here.
The Vader packs a 3kW motor, one that takes it to a maximum speed of 85kmph. Odysse claims a 125km range in Eco mode, 105km range in Drive mode and 90km range in Sport mode. The Vader has a reverse mode as well. Its 3.7kWh Lithium-battery pack, meanwhile, can be charged in about four hours. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels at both ends and even has 18-litres of storage space. Tipping the scales at 128kg, it’s a whole 20kg more than the Revolt RV400. Braking duties are handled by a 240mm front disc and 220mm one at the rear. Its 7-inch TFT facilitates live tracking, geo-fencing, low battery alerts and even CO2 savings’ display!
Odysse has priced the Vader at Rs 1,09,999 in Ahmedabad, Rs 1,11,999 in Mumbai and Rs 1,29,999 in Delhi, all prices ex-showroom, including FAME II and state subsidies. With that, it goes against the Revolt RV400 and the Tork Kratos.
