Porsche announces Cayenne Platinum Edition

To be available on the Cayenne Diesel and Cayenne V6 models, the new Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition will come with added features and exclusive exterior paint shades.

Porsche is upgrading the Cayenne six-cylinder models through a special series known as the Platinum Edition. The Cayenne and Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition will come with unique exterior design features in Platinum Silver and a wider range of standard equipment.

With enhanced equipment range especially designed to increase comfort and safety, the Cayenne Platinum Edition models will also feature standard tip-tronic S transmission, bi-xenon headlights, power steering plus, park assist (front and rear) and privacy glazing in the rear.

Adding that special effect to its sporty exteriors are upgrades like platinum silver metallic paint, the air intake slats on the front apron, the side window surrounds, the rear spoiler lip and the rear bumper trim strip. The car will be available in black and white colours and will also have the meteor grey metallic, basalt black metallic and mahogany metallic as an optional choice. The Carrara White Metallic paint finish is also an option available, exclusively for this Cayenne edition. The exterior is rounded off by the 19-inch Cayenne Design II wheels with coloured crest.

On the inside, the added features include an exclusive two-tone partial-leather interior in black and luxor beige, door-sill guards with ‘Platinum Edition’ logo as standard, SportDesign steering wheel with shift paddles and the Porsche crest embossed on the head restraints of the front and outer rear seats. All special edition models will also come with the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) featuring a high-resolution seven-inch touch screen and a sound system with 11 loudspeakers and total power of 235 watt and a navigation module.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition offers 304 PS of power with an average fuel consumption of 10.10kmpl. Featuring a three-litre V6 engine, the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition offers an output of 248 PS of power and a consumption level of 13.8kmpl.
