Chevrolet Limited Edition Enjoy launched at Rs 6.41 lakh

Chevrolet has quietly launched a limited edition Enjoy just ten days prior to the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The Enjoy limited Edition is priced at Rs 6.41 lakh for the petrol model and Rs 8.11 lakh for the diesel model, all prices on-road Delhi. The limited Edition enjoy is essentially an accessorized version of the standard model with features worth Rs 14,000. The limited edition Enjoy gets a few extra features like roof rails, chrome door handles, integrated turn indicators in the outside rear view mirrors and blackened B- and C-pillars.

The Enjoy’s base variants are available in 8-seater options and are marginally cheaper than the 7-seater variant. The former gets bench seating for the second row while the latter is equipped with captain seats. It is equipped with a 1.4-litre petrol engine developing 104 PS of power and 130Nm of torque and a 1.3-litre diesel engine (the popular Fiat multijet engine) churning out 77.5 PS of power and 187 Nm of torque.

The Chevrolet Enjoy has been re-engineered to suit Indian conditions from its donor car, the Wuling Hong Guang. The Hong Guang or Enjoy in India is part of the SAIC-GM-Wuling partnership’s product portfolio from which many models are shared for different markets. The Sail sedan and hatchback are also part of the Chinese line-up adapted to the Indian market. Chevrolet has had moderate success with the partnership, the Enjoy being the most successful of the lot.
