The automotive industry in India is witnessing a boom in its performance figures and with the festive period fast approaching, every car firm is eyeing to fully utilize this time period to further increase their market presence. We saw Toyota commencing its own festive period offers which will run throughout October and now it is the German car firm, Volkswagen, that has started its own festive celebration offers under the ‘Volksfest 2016’ carnival.
During this festive campaign, VW has carved out a range of offers for customers visiting its dealerships anywhere throughout the country. VW said that it will help provide attractive finance offers on all its cars on sale in India. The German carmaker also said that on every car booking throughout the month of October, customers will receive an assured gift. What this gift might be isn’t clear as of now. VW will also give away exclusive customized gifts on every test drive that takes place over the said period. Customers also stand a chance to win a Blaupunkt multimedia tablet.
The Indian arm of the German car firm currently offers the Polo hatchback (Standard, Cross and GT), Vento, Jetta, Beetle and the newest member of the family, the Ameo. Last week, VW launched the much-awaited diesel-powered variant of the Ameo in India with a starting price Rs 6.33 lakh for the Trendline variant, ranging up to Rs 9.31 lakh for the Highline variant with a DSG gearbox (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
