A list of commuters, streetfighters, supersports and ADVs lined up for the Indian two-wheeler market this month

With the automotive industry getting back on track, we’ve been witnessing multiple new two-wheeler launches. The last month has been an exciting one and we believe the following weeks will mark the beginning of a new era. Here’s a list of what you could expect in the coming weeks:

Royal Enfield Meteor 350

The neverending wait for the Meteor 350 is getting to everyone. But spy images from the recent past suggest the bike’s official launch is just around the corner

BS6 TVS Victor

TVS is nearing completion of its BS6 portfolio except for a select few products. The latest bike to receive a BS6 motor is the Victor. Sources suggest the bike will be launched in the coming weeks and could receive a bigger heart.

Honda has been among the top two-wheeler manufacturers that have been actively working on transitioning towards cleaner emissions. Having said that, there are still a couple of bikes that need to be updated to BS6. Chief among them is the CB Hornet 160R, which we expect to arrive sometime within this month. Interestingly, rumour mills suggest the bike will feature a new look and come at a price of around Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.1 lakh.

BS6 BMW G 310 R And G 310 GS

The BS6 baby Beemers have been spotted testing in India hinting at their imminent launch. The twins have received a couple of cosmetic updates along with the obvious BS6-compliant engine. We believe BMW may give the BMW G 310 Twins a massive price cut to keep them competitive

Triumph Street Triple R

The Street Triple RS may be a handful for some and Triumph gets it. It’s also the top-spec variant which comes at a premium. So, to make the bike more accessible and easier on the pocket, Triumph is gearing up to launch the Street Triple R. We believe the bike could be launched this month for around Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ducati Panigale V2

Next up is the baby V2, Ducati’s entry-level Panigale which will soon replace the Ducati 959. The brand has already teased the bike via its social media handle and is scheduled to launch it towards the end of August

BS6 Suzuki V-Strom 650XT

The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT has been missing from action ever since it was first showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo this year. The COVID-19 pandemic has possibly had a part to play in the delay of the bike's launch. Nonetheless, we hope to see Suzuki introduce the mid-displacement ADV this month for around Rs 8 lakh.

BS6 Kawasaki Z900, Versys 650

Same goes for the Kawasaki Z900 and the Versys 650. We already know what the duo look like and are currently waiting for an official price which will hopefully be revealed this month. Expect a price hike of around Rs 1 lakh over its BS4 counterpart which retailed at Rs 7.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

BS6 Hero Xtreme 200S, XPulse 200T

Hero recently launched the much-loved BS6-compliant XPulse 200 which is expected to be followed up with the introduction of the XPulse 200T and the Xtreme 200S. Expect an increment of around Rs 6,500 over the BS4 models.

Honda CBR1000RR-R

Honda’s litre-class superbike is here, well somewhat. The Japanese bikemaker has started accepting bookings for the supersport. It’s an all-new bike with the best kit you could ask for and a powerhouse of a motor that takes the fight to the 200PS club. We’re expecting a price of around Rs 22 lakh, but what do you guys think?
