UM Motorcycles Inaugurates Third Dealership In India

Covering a sprawling area of 3,200 sq ft, along with the sale of motorcycles the dealership is also equipped with an after-sales facility for a trouble-free ownership experience

UM Motorcycles, the Indian arm of the American motorcycle maker UM International, has opened a new dealership in Gurugram. It is the third dealership in India and will be called Bhagwati Motors. The facility has a total area of 3,200 sq ft where the entire range of UM motorcycles will be displayed, along with provision for after-sales services for a smooth ownership experience.

Speaking on this new dealership, Rajeev Mishra,Director – UML, said: “I am delighted to announce the opening of the third dealership of UM Motorcycles in India. This is an important milestone for us in our extensive dealership network rollout programme which is currently underway at UM Motorcycles, India. Gurugram has firmly established itself as the business and commercial centre of Delhi's National Capital Region (NCR) and offers potent opportunities for premium bike makers like us. The new UM Motorcycle dealership will provide the prospective customers of UM Motorcycles a venue to know our products up close and personal.  We also take pride in offering the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S today for test drive. Both these iconic cruisers from the UM Stable have won the hearts of bike lovers the world over and are now ready to conquer the biking landscape in India.” 

Renegade Commando

UM Motorcycles current product line-up consists of the Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sports S. Both the motorcycles share the same 279cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine developing 24.6PS at 8,500rpm and 21.8Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. Both the motorcycles have a fuel tank capacity of 18-litres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.

With booking already started at the Auto Expo, the Renegade Commando will be available at Rs 1.59 lakh, while the Renegade Sport S will be available at Rs 1.49 lakh (Both ex-showroom, New Delhi).
