TVS Sells A Lakh Victors Since Launch

The relaunched TVS Victor has just crossed a milestone. According to its maker, the motorcycle has clocked sales of 1 lakh units within the first nine months of its launch in India. This has bumped up the company's share in Indian motorcycle market to 8 per cent. TVS Motors expects a 10-12 per cent share in the domestic motorcycle market in the next 2 years. Who has it entrusted this task with? The Victor motorcycle.

Arun Siddharth, vice president, marketing (motorcycles), TVS Motors, said, "We are delighted to have 1 lakh families join us on this journey to spread smiles. It is our endeavor to add more members to the growing family of TVS Victor and we are confident that we will build on the growth momentum."

To give you some information on the bike, the Victor is powered by a 3-valve 109.7cc Ecothrust engine that makes 9.6 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of torque. This carburetted motor is paired to a four-speed transmission. The bike has telescopic front suspension and 5-step adjustable dual springs at the back. It has drum brakes at both ends, though TVS provides front disc brake as an option. It has a fuel tank of 8-litre capacity, which includes 2-litre reserve capacity. TVS Motors claims that the bike can churn out a fuel economy of 76kmpl. The bike has electric start and also has a digital speedometer paired with an analog tachometer.

The TVS Victor is available in six colour schemes - Red, Black Red, Black Silver, Grey, and Silver and Blue. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 50,715 for the drum brake variant and Rs 52,715 for the disc brake variant (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
