India’s leading two-wheeler–maker, TVS Motors, has launched two of its bikes in new colours on 19 September. The TVS StaR City Plus and the TVS Sport will be getting Spotlight White and Black Silver colours, respectively. This step has been taken to mark the approaching festive season.
If we count the new paint jobs, the TVS StaR City Plus will now be available in 11 and the TVS Sport in nine colour variants.
Arun Siddharth, Vice President, Marketing, TVS Motor Company, said, “we are happy to launch the new colour variants of TVS StaR City Plus and TVS Sport in new attractive colours. These colours reflect the flavours of the festive season and enhance the look of these motorcycles. We believe the motorcycle is an extension of the rider’s personality and by adding more colour variants to the palate we will provide more options to the buyers to express and establish his personality. With the new colour variants, we intend to add more style to the overall experience of the rider in this festive season.”
Mechanically, the TVS StaR City Plus will continue to be powered by the same 110cc Ecothrust engine as the existing model, and the TVS Sport by the same 100cc motor. The new 'Spotlight White' TVS StaR City Plus is priced at Rs 44,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the new 'Black Silver' TVS Sport is priced at Rs 36,880 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Both the bikes will be available across all TVS showrooms in the country.
