The group of six riders comprises of Santanu Roychowdhury, Manash Sen, Subrato Boral, Sujoy Mondal, Gautam Dutta, Achintya Saha and Indradev Chatterjee. The trip for these six people started on Wednesday (August 17) from Chandigarh. The rider will keep riding till Kyurchu, which is in Ladakh, where they will set up the base camp for the journey ahead. The bikers will try to get in line with the adverse climate of the area for a few days before they attempt the record-setting feat. The riders will then attempt to conquer the summit on September 6. If successful, it will be the first time that a motorcycle(s) will reach an altitude of 21,300 feet. The riders also aim to take the bikes up to at least 21,500 feet and even at 21,750 feet if situation favours.

In this one of a kind attempt, four motorcycles will be carrying four prominent flags to the summit, one being the Indian tricolour, and the other three being Biswa Bangla, North Calcutta Disha and Mohun Bagan. The adventure also aims to propagate and promote safe driving culture in the areas it is going to pass through.
