Rayomand Banajee’s racing team have made our nation proud as two youngsters from Mumbai, Arya Gandhi and Raj Ganatra have gone ahead and won the Rotax Category titles (Junior & Senior) in the prestigious Asian Kart Open Championship. Held at the Circuit de Coloane in Macau, the cold & chilly conditions in the region made it all the more difficult for the drivers competing for the best position in the last and final round of the championship.

In the senior category, Raj Ganatra showed very great sportsmanship competing against a tough grid of equally competitive 49 drivers. Even after getting held back in a pile-up at the first corner, Raj managed to overtake numerous drivers during the race, that too with a single set of tyres. His perseverance paid off as Raj managed to complete the race in an applause worthy second position.

Arya Gandhi, who missed both practice sessions on day one and two, took part in the Junior Category race with just a few laps of pratice behind him, but still managed a decent position at the pole. Driving the race under immense pressure Arya managed to consistently pull away from his competitors, and finally win the race.

Thrilled with the great result achieved by the boys, Rayomand Banajee, 8 Time National Champion & owner of Rayo Racing, said "We have worked hard & come a long way. The drivers & mechanics have also put in a lot of effort along with team manager Steve Hodges. Hopefully we will have many more drivers from India conquering international events in the future."
