The Tata Hexa XT i.e. the top-end variant, which made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo, was snapped during the shoot for its TVC. In the coming weeks, the car will be up for sale. According to reports, the SUV is expected to be priced aggressively, around Rs 12-17 lakh mark (ex-showroom).

The upcoming SUV from Tata will also feature -- black plastic cladding, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights (DRL), roof rails, chrome embellishments and chrome-plated dual exhaust tailpipes.

On the inside, the Hexa has an-all black interior with piano black and silver embellishers. It also has features like an electronic stability program (ESP), 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, an optional six-seat configuration with captain seats, Harman touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting, and six airbags. And just to let you know, the Hexa will be the most-feature loaded car that Tata will ever sell till date.

Mechanically, the Hexa will be powered by a 2.2-litre 'VARICOR' turbodiesel engine that will produce around 158.37PS of power and 400Nm of peak torque. The gearbox options will be a six-speed manual as standard or an automatic gearbox which is likely to be optional in the XM and XT variants. The Tata Hexa will also be available with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system for the top-end XT variant.
