Tata Motors has commenced the online bookings of the Tata Bolt. Customers interested in buying this forthcoming new hatch can book it online at bookonline.tatamotors.com by making a payment of just Rs 11,000. The Bolt is the second new product the carmaker is launching following the Zest that was launched back in August this year.
The Tata Bolt boast’s the homegrown auto major’s new design language. The front fascia sports a nice grille with a chrome strip running above it and headlamps that neatly merge with the grille to give this upcoming hatch a distinct look. The new car also receives blackened out projector headlamps and silver accents that highlight the fog lamps. The rear end receives a blackened out bumper and LED tail lamps.(Also read: Tata Bolt 1.2 Revotron Review)
Inside, the Tata Bolt receives a dashboard that is quiet similar to the Zest, but the new hatch boasts of an all black finish as opposed to the dual colour treatment that the Tata Zest receives. The AC vents receive chrome surround that impart the cabin a nice look.
The new Tata Bolt will be available with both the petrol and diesel engine options. A 1.2-litre turbocharged ‘Revotron’ petrol engine churning out 90PS of power and 140Nm of torque and a 1.3-litre Fiat Multijet oil burner delivering 75PS of power and 190Nm of torque will do duty in the new Bolt. The new hatch also comes with three driving modes – Eco, City, and Sport.
Once launched, the new Tata Bolt will lock horns with the Maruti Swift, Fiat Punto EVO, and the Toyota Etios Liva. We expect this new hatch to be priced starting at Rs 4 lakh.
