It was a memorable occasion for Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), as it achieved a significant milestone of producing its 3 millionth vehicle at its manufacturing facility in Gurgaon, Haryana. The special two-wheeler was the new Suzuki Access 125. The Japanese two-wheeler giant has had an eventful run in the Indian market. While the Access 125 scooter remained its most popular two-wheeler offering in India, all that changed with the introduction of the Suzuki Gixxer. The 150cc motorcycle played a vital role in increasing the brands presence in our market and is currently the highest selling motorcycle for Suzuki in India. It also introduced the Suzuki Gixxer SF few years back which holds the distinction of being the cheapest full-faired motorcycle on sale in India.

Speaking about this auspicious milestone, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL, said “We are delighted to have achieved this remarkable feat which stands as a testament to the continued customer confidence and support & dedication of our employees, dealers and suppliers. Our vehicles have gained immense popularity by fulfilling our commitment to quality across markets. We have witnessed a rapid growth since the past few years and we are confident about further reinforcing our position in the market.”
