Suzuki is going to introduce a new Gixxer SP special edition in both naked and faired versions in the near future. According to brochure images posted on a dealer's Facebook page, the bike will be priced at Rs 85,340 (on-road Delhi).
The bike will get an interesting dual-tone paint scheme with checkered flag graphics on the tank cover and will have two colour options -- Black and Grey. The special-edition Gixxer also gets a red and black seat along with chrome badging.
Apart from the dynamic styling and looks, the bike retains its standard Gixxer features such as 41mm front forks, seven-step adjustable rear monoshock, full LCD instrument console, three-split-spoke alloy wheels, meaty 140/60 section rear tyre, LED tail lamp, front disc brake as standard and dual-port exhaust muffler.
The Gixxer is one of the most successful products from Suzuki and is available in two variants (naked and faired). The faired version -- Gixxer SF -- is the more affordable one with a full body fairing. Mechanically, the Gixxer is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which produces 14.8PS of power and delivers 14Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
