Suzuki Celebrates Gixxer Day With Bike Stunts

On April 2, 2017, Suzuki Motorcycles celebrated another Gixxer Day at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi with Aras Gibieza, European freestyle champion. Aras entertained the crowd on the GSX-S1000 with a tonne of wheelies, stoppies, drifts and burnouts. The cloud of smoke from the burnt rubber was, well, thick enough to hide a car. With so many burnouts, it was only a matter of time before the rubber made way for the metal wires and mesh that hold it all together. Once that happened, it was uninterrupted fireworks around the back. After half an hour of spinning around on tarmac, the tyre finally succumbed to the torture and blew.

With the tyre gone, it was time to move onto more important things, like taking selfies. Aras then clicked a lot of selfies with his new fans, before taking the wraps off the 2017 Gixxer SF. The event wasn't just for Suzuki two-wheeler or Gixxer owners but for all motorcycling enthusiasts.

Suzuki also had its 2017 range of BS-IV-compliant Gixxers and the Access 125 including its special edition. At the show, the bike maker was also offering its official merchandise and Gixxer-branded helmets with attractive discounts. Spending money wasn't the only way to grab a piece of merchandise as visitors could also participate in a lucky draw and take home some gifts.
