Hyundai has revealed pictures of a refreshed i10 in the United Kingdom. The all-new i10, which is sold as the Grand i10 in India, features several exterior changes, along with a few interior upgrades. In all probability, the car will qualify as a Grand i10 facelift in the country. Moreover, a Grand i10 test mule was spotted testing in the country last month near the manufacturer’s Chennai plant. The spied car’s front and rear end were covered in veils and was probably hiding the same exteriors that you can see in these newly released pictures.

The exterior upgrades on the Euro-spec car include an all-new front end. The signature hexagonal grille has evolved into a curvier version of the edgy one that we see in the all-new Elantra. The front grille gets retro round daytime running LEDs (DRL) on both sides of the grille. While the headlamp units remain unchanged, one can notice a new bumper with sporty fog-lamp enclosures, which seems to draw inspiration from the elder sibling, the Elantra. On the sides, the Euro-spec car features diamond-cut alloy wheels. However, the spied Indian test mule sported a set that was different from the ones you see in the images are of the uk version. The rear, as you can see, gets a new bumper with large, round fog-lamp units on either side. Other than that, the rear section remains identical to the current version, with same taillamp and tailgate.

On the inside, the revealed Euro-spec i10 gets new interior colour combo options to choose from: chocolate-black and blue-black combos. However, if the car makes it to India, it is likely to retain the same black-beige layout. It also gets an advanced touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

The car is powered by 1.0-litre and 1.25-litre petrol motors in the United Kingdom. The new i10 will continue to use them, along with the five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmission options. If launched in India, it will certainly retain the current diesel and petrol options, along with the currently available transmission options.

If we were to guess the car’s launch date in India we would bet on the first quarter of 2017. However, it will make it public debut at the upcoming Paris Auto Show. And, if launched in India, will compete against the Ford Figo, the Chevrolet Beat, etc.
