Iconic Italian company MV Agusta has joined hands with Kinetic Group to launch motorcycle range in India, with price ranging between Rs 12 lakh to Rs 33 lakh

It’s been an interesting year so far, and to make things better exquisite Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta has confirmed to launch its motorcycle range in India. Currently, the Italian firm manufactures some of the most beautiful motorcycles in the world including the MV Agusta Brutale, Rivale, Turismo Veloce, F3 and the flagship MV Agusta F4. These motorcycles come powered with various engines – from 800cc to 1078cc, producing anywhere between 110 -212PS.

Pune-based Kinetic Group has signed a partnership with the Italian marque for bringing MV Agusta superbikes to India. The MV Agusta motorcycles will be imported to India as CBUs (Completely Built Unit) and SKD (Semi Knock Down) units, and are expected to demand a premium price ranging from Rs 12 lakh to 33 lakh.

Kinetic is setting up a network of showrooms in the top cities of India from where the MV Agusta motorcycles will be sold and after-sales service will be offered. A statement issued by the company states – “Kinetic can launch any or all of these motocycles in India over the next 2-3 years, with the first launch slated for November 2015. A team of engineering experts is already working on homologation and other formalities, while the dealership network is being set up across India.”

The MV Agusta F4 could be priced around Rs 33 lakh


Based in Varese, Italy, MV Agusta was founded in 1945 and over the years has become a legendary motorcycle company. With world class bikes like the F4, which was designed by none other than Massimo Tamburini, and the Brutale range of naked sportsbikes, MV Agusta is a marque adored by most motorcycle enthusiasts. The Italian company has won multiple titles in 500cc and 350cc roadracing world championships, and has also won many races at the Isle of Man TT, the world's toughest road racing circuit.

MV Agusta also has a strategic tie up with Mercedes–AMG for co-marketing of their products, since Mercedes–AMG has a 25 per cent stake in MV Agusta.

Kinetic has been in the automotive business since 1972 and has extensive experience in retail as well as after-sales service for two-wheelers.
