MRF Tyres Sets Up Biking Community For Avid Bikers

'Ride Along With MRF' is a one of a kind riding community that was launched by India's leading tyre manufacturer MRF on 22nd July. While the ICC Cricket World T20 was going on, MRF took the initiative of adding thrill to the lives of two-wheelers owners across the country and decided to cater to these needs and fuel the passion of over three lakh riders who participated in this campaign.

During the launch of this event, Mr. Koshy Varghese, Executive Vice President – Marketing, MRF Tyres said, “Most biking communities in India are for hard-core bikers. They are either started by Bike Brands or a set of enthusiastic riders of a particular kind of bike. Our vision is to get every bike owner in India to explore India on two-wheels. All they need is a passion for riding. So we have created a platform that helps organise and plan weekend trips that anyone can do. We want 3 or 4 friends with bikes to set simply out on rides, armed with information, support and fun ideas while being fully prepared and safe. And above all, we want to create ride stories for everyone to remember and share with their friends and family.“

There’s no lack of two-wheeler owners in India who are passionate about riding, but most of them take a step back thinking it will be a very challenging task for them. This is why MRF set up this campaign, to cater to the need of the people and make their rides a memorable one. MRF also wants to create a platform where a rider, with any bike or biking experience, can come and fulfil their passion for riding.  Along with this, the campaign will also help riders find exclusive riding ideas, create riding stories, and meet and associate with new people across the country.

Leading this campaign from the front will be a bunch of MRF Ride Ambassadors. These professional riders have been chosen from 9 different cities across the country. These riders will not only give riding ideas to the people but also ride along with the group through their first few rides. These professional riders will be hosting weekly rides and bikers can simply join in and have a memorable experience along with them. The MRF Ride Ambassadors will start off their journey from Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Pune, Nagpur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Dharmashala. MRF plans to expand this campaign to many more cities and towns, giving bikers the initiative to explore the country more and more on two wheels.
