Mitsubishi in India hasn’t seen the best of times. Its limited range of products, subpar service network and poor resale value collectively acted like anchors in a sea of opportunities. Only the Pajero marque has seen some fan following here and, although the company only has two products listed on its Indian website, the Japanese car firm has introduced a service campaign to keep those handful of customers happy.
Mitsubishi wants its customers and their cars to be winter-ready and so has tagged its latest campaign the Free Winter Service Camp. Under this initiative, the Japanese car firm is offering a winter-special service package which will cover a free 30-point vehicle check-up for good visibility, exterior protection of the vehicle’s paint, fuel/oil additive for a smoother drive, cavity protection to prevent corrosion, and under chassis protection. Mitsubishi is offering a 15 per cent discount on all additives and a 20 per cent discount on all car care products.
Customers can avail the benefits of this campaign at any authorized dealership across the country from November 1 to November 30, 2016. However, we do recommend that you take an appointment before you head out to the nearest dealership.
Currently, Mitsubishi sells two SUVs in India – the Pajero Sport and Montero – neither of which brings enough business for the Japanese carmaker. However, with Nissan recently investing multi-billion dollars to become the single-largest stakeholder in Mitsubishi, the embattled company is finally seeing a ray of hope to survive in one of the largest automobile markets in the world.
