Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha beat Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee 4-2 in the India finals. The team will take on finalists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam between July 13 and 15, 2012

The second season of the Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Football in India ended at the Mahammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata with Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha bagging the championship title. 

Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha beat Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee 4-2 in the India finals. Ashraf Ul Ali Mondal of Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha was adjudged the Best Player of the tournament. 

Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha will represent India Yamaha Motor in the fourth Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Football Finals to be held in Malaysia from July 13 to 15, 2012, and will face the finalists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. 

For the fourth Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Football tournament, Kolkata was picked as the ideal place to host the second season of the Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Football tournament as football is extremely popular in West Bengal. 

“We are very happy for our children. The kids worked really hard for this competition and are in a happy phase now but the toughest competition is yet to come. So, we are planning to follow some strategies to improve their weak points and build stamina,” said, Chinmoy Talukder, Coach, Michael Nagar Netaji Sangha.
