Mercedes-Benz Introduces ‘My Mercedes-My Service’ Program In India

Under the new program, Mercedes-Benz will offer Digital Service Drive, Premier Express Service and innovative service packages for low ownership costs for its new and existing customers

Mercedes-Benz India has launched a new programme called ‘My Mercedes-My Service’ with an aim to redefine the after-sales ownership experience of their prestigious customers. The German manufacturer has launched three innovative service programs in India. The new initiatives include the ‘Digital Service Drive’, ‘Premier Express Service’ and innovative ‘Service Products’. The ‘My Mercedes-My Service’ programme was launched at Sundaram Motors in Bangalore by Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Sharath Vijayaraghavan, Executive Director, Sundaram Motors.

Digital Service Drive: The main objective of this initiative is to further enhance the ownership experience of customers by increasing the productivity and reducing the overall turnaround time of servicing vehicles. With the aid of this service, the paperwork involved is replaced by the iPads used by service advisors, feedbacks and estimates through e-mails, video call for better transparency and convenience of booking service slots with real-time availability nationwide. The company has already been receiving a good response for the ‘Digital Service Drive’ that was started three months back. India is the only country outside the USA to receive the Digital Service Drive.

Premier Express Service: Under this initiative, Mercedes-Benz will carry out express servicing of vehicles in a little over two hours. A dedicated team comprising of a team leader and two certified maintenance technicians will be will be allocated two post lift bays with all the necessary tools, equipment and special tools to carry out the premium express service. Available in all metro cities, the service, however, will not cover major service and repairs, warranty repairs or service of AMG vehicles.

Star Ease New Service Package: Under this updated service package, the cost of maintenance of the vehicle is reduced thus relieving the customers of any expense related worries. The exclusive features of the Star Ease package are multi-fold. 

Star Ease Compact Plus: In this package, the Star Ease programme will be offered for 3 years or 30,000 km, 3 years or 60,000 km, 4 years or 40,000 km, 4 years with 80,000 km, and 5 years or 100,000 km. It will be offered with 2/3/4 and even 5 years with unlimited mileage. The German manufacturer will soon also be introducing a stand-alone package for 10 years or 200,000 km for new car customers only.
