Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza price to be announced tomorrow

Possibly one of the most awaited launches in recent memory, the much awaited compact SUV, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will be launched in India tomorrow. Maruti will announce the Vitara Brezza price along with full specifications and other details. The compact SUV will also be available only with a diesel engine at the time of launch with the petrol engine version following a few months from now. 

The engine on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza with be a 1.3-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder motor which makes 90PS of peak power and 200Nm of peak torque. The new engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox at the time of launch. Expect the Vitara Brezza to get an automatic version soon too. The new Vitara Brezza will be a front wheel drive SUV and although possible, there are no real plans for an all-wheel-drive version just yet. 

On the exterior front, the Brezza is a good looking SUV with crisp, simple looks and an aggressive styling language. The front gets a large grille that fuses into the headlamps. The headlamps itself get a daytime running light LED setup along with projector headlamps. The most distinct styling feature on the car has to be the floating roof and the two tone paint that the top of the line variant will be offered in. The new Brezza will also get 16-inch alloy wheels on the ZDi(O) variant. 

The Maruti Suzuki Vitarra Brezza will come with features like a touchscreen infotainment system and steering mounted audio controls. The Brezza might also get Apple CarPlay as a feature on the top models since the Baleno also comes with an identical infotainment package. The Brezza will also get climate control and steering mounted audio controls.

In terms of pricing, we expect the Brezza to start at about Rs 6.5 lakh for the base model and go to about Rs 9.5 lakh for the fully loaded ZDi(O) variant. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will conventionally go up against the likes of the Ford Ecosport and the Mahindra TUV300. That said, we think the Brezza’s biggest rivals will be offerings like the Hyundai i20 and Maruti’s own Baleno and Ciaz along with cars like the Honda City.
