Maruti has launched a special edition variant of the Ritz hatchback called the Ritz Elate

Maruti Ritz Elate limited edition launched

Maruti Suzuki has silently slipped in its limited edition Ritz christened- the Ritz Elate. This new limited edition car features minor cosmetic add-ons to distinguish it from the regular Ritz and is up for grabs at Rs 20,000 more than the standard variant.

Ritz Elate has been given minor exterior upgrades along with a string of additional features. The limited edition car now receives a splash of snazzy coloured body graphics. ‘Elate’ logo has been placed on the door panels of the vehicle.

The interiors of the car feature a cover for the steering wheel, seats covers with orange trim, neck support, floor mats, ambient lighting and a multi-purpose bag. Other equipment includes a 2-DIN music system with speakers and CD, USB and AUX connectivity, Bluetooth kit and reverse parking sensors.

No changes have been made to the engine configuration of the vehicle and the hatchback continues to come powered with a 1.2-litre K-Series VVT petrol engine and a 1.3-litre DDis diesel powertrain.

With the launch of this limited edition Ritz Elate, Maruti Suzuki is trying to spruce up the sales of the Ritz which has seen a dip in the past few years due to tough competition from other brands. The carmaker is selling the standard Ritz with attractive discount offers. It includes a direct cash benefit of Rs 30,000, and an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000.
