Special editions of most Indian cars trickle down only to the addition of some stickers, accessories and most importantly - chrome. This time around, it is the Maruti Celerio which has undergone this makeup to become the Celerio Limited Edition. Maruti has added a quite a lot of chrome and some graphics on the outside while the interiors get a plethora of beige accessories. Since this is merely an accessory job, the Maruti Celerio Limited Edition is available in all variants. The cost of the accessories in this kit adds up to Rs 19,989 but Maruti is offering them at a combined price Rs 11,990.

On the outside, the Limited Edition Celerio wears chrome garnishes on the tail lamps, boot gate, headlight cluster, fog lamps and window line. Also, you get side body graphics, rear parking sensors, a set of door visors and door moulding to set your car apart from the rest of the accessorised Celerios.

Inside, the seats are dressed in new beige seat covers and the steering wheel gets a beige cover as well. You also get ambient light in the footwells and a cylindrical tissue box. How convenient!

In terms of the mechanicals, the diesel engine of the Celerio was discontinued some time back and it is now only available with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This mill churns out 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque. Mated to this engine is a 5-speed manual or an Auto Gear Shift transmission. The petrol engine has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.02kmpl. There is a CNG option as well which returns 31.79km/kg of mileage.

Post GST, the prices of the Maruti Celerio have gone down by a thousand bucks in Delhi and the range now starts from Rs 4.03 lakh.
