Hoping to boost the sales of the SUV, the Mumbai based automobile maker will be introducing its first ever limited edition variant of the XUV500 called ‘Mahindra XUV500 Sportz’. The new version aims to spice up the design and would feature cosmetic makeover including bright red decals on the bonnet and on the doors of the SUV. Besides this, the fog lamps housing, roof rails and door handles also get red highlights. Other changes include sporty new alloy wheels and ‘Sportz’ badge on the C-pillar.

However, there are no major changes in the cabin of the Mahindra XUV500 Sportz, but we can expect special leather seats and some more ‘Sportz’ branding. The new Mahindra XUV500 Sportz will be available in the top-of-the-line W8 variant, and would feature an infotainment system with GPS, 6-inch screen with rear camera, automatic wipers and headlamps, climate control and electrical ORVM.

The Mahinda XUV500 Sportz would be priced at about Rs 50,000 over the standard W8 model which retails at Rs 13.60 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
