The Lamborghini Centenario is a breathtaking work of art that was built to celebrate the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini. And now, it just got even more breathtaking in roadster form. Just like the coupe, this car's entire body is made out of carbon fibre and the people who designed this roadster gave it a special colour which they like to call 'Argento Centenario.' But, of course, if you want this beast in any other custom colour, its will be done for you at Lamborghini's 'Ad Personam' customization division.

It is not all-show-and-no-go, though: every body panel of the Centenario Roadster has been designed that way for a purpose. The headlights have small ducts which allow air to flow through it; the alloys have been carved like the blades of a turbine to help the brake disk cool down faster; and the rear wing can extend by 150mm and rotate by 15 degrees to help the beast hunker down closer to the ground at higher speeds.

Moving to the inside, the Centenario Roadster is draped in alcantara and leather, which can also be customised, just like the paintjob, as per the customer’s taste. It include features such as an iPad-like 10.1-inch touchscreen which will help you to take usual calls, audio, a flip-up starter button, and plenty of switches that will make you feel like you are in a plane's cockpit.

Coming to the heart of the matter, let's talk about the engine that powers the Centenario Roadster. It’s the same V12 unit that is found under the hood of the Aventador, but for this roadster the engine has been tuned to produce a massive 770PS of power that is transferred to all four wheels. With so many horses under the hood, the car can do the 0-100kmph sprint in a mere 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of about 350kmph.

Only 20 units of the Centenario Roadster will been produced, each with a staggering price tag of 2 million Euros, plus tax (approx Rs 15.2 crore). And even if that exorbitant price tag isn’t a deterrent for you, you can’t buy one now. All of them have been booked!
