Unlike the price of the bike, the accessories are not as expensive when compared to the Kawasaki Z900

  • There are five add-ons available for now.
  • The bar-end mirrors are the most expensive on the list at Rs 9,866 per piece!
  • Expect KTM to further add some accessories in the coming few months.
  • After waiting for months, KTM has finally launched the 790 Duke in India. Yes, at Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom), it is quite expensive, but one look at the technology and you know the price tag is somewhat justified. If you’re looking to further spend some more and kit up your Scalpel, here’s what the Austrian brand has to offer in India.

All in all, the manufacturer is offering five accessories for the 790 Duke for now. The most affordable in the list are the tank grips, which are priced at Rs 2,945. These rubber tank pads should help grip the fuel tank firmly. If you are planning to take your 790 Duke for touring, then you might want to add a windshield that is on offer at Rs 7,868.

Apart from these, there are fork and swingarm protectors (both priced at Rs 3,757), which shield the vital parts during a crash. Moreover, where the 390 Duke gets Bluetooth connectivity as standard, you have to buy a Bluetooth adapter for your 790 Duke. Once connected, you can accept and reject a call, control your playlist and more. The price of the adapter is yet to be announced, but we are pretty sure that it will cost a bomb.

The bar-end mirrors are the most expensive of the lot, priced at a whopping Rs 9,866 per piece! But the blacked-out, all-aluminium mirrors do marry well with the orange and black paint scheme of the 790 Duke.

At first, these add-ons might seem quite expensive, but once you consider that the Kawasaki Z900’s tank grips and windscreen are priced at Rs 4,500 and Rs 10,410, KTM’s accessories seem quite affordable.
