A few weeks ago, Jawa FINALLY began delivering the highly anticipated Perak bobber, and now, BS6 versions of the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two have also begun reaching customers. The updated bikes were launched way back in March, but COVID-19 played spoilsport and delayed the deliveries thus far.

The effects of the pandemic can be seen on the new bikes, because Jawa’s supply chain (especially from China) has been disrupted, meaning that it has had to find new vendors for certain bits. This has resulted in minor tweaks on the bikes themselves.
The seat pan has been redesigned and the cushioning has been modified as well, which should result in better comfort especially for heavier riders. Other little bits like the horn and the chrome plating in some areas have also been changed. Earlier Jawas were prone to corrosion-related issues, and we hope these have been mitigated with the BS6 bikes.
