The Hyundai Creta Electric is all set to meet public eyes at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, set to kick off on January 17. While closely mirroring the design of the ICE-powered Creta currently on sale, the electric version is also loaded with advanced features, staying true to the reputation of the Creta nameplate. We previously explored its exterior design in detail; now, let's delve into its interior and features, and see how they compare.
The interiors of the Hyundai Creta Electric and the ICE-powered Creta share a largely similar layout, but subtle differences set them apart. One of the most noticeable distinctions is the cabin theme: the Creta Electric adopts a sleek white-and-black finish, while the Creta ICE features a more traditional white-and-grey palette.
The dashboard design remains consistent across both models. However, the Creta Electric introduces a modern three-spoke steering wheel with a horizontal chrome slat, inspired by the "four-dot" design seen in the Hyundai Ioniq 5, replacing the standard Hyundai logo.

In contrast, the ICE variant retains its four-spoke steering wheel from the previous generation.

The Creta Electric has a simplified centre console setup, featuring a drive mode dial, two cupholders and seat ventilation buttons. Additionally, its gear selector is mounted behind the steering wheel, mirroring the layout of the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

The ICE Creta on the other hand comes equipped with: a modern gear lever, two cupholders, an electronic parking brake, seat ventilation buttons and a rotary dial for drive and terrain mode selection.

Both models boast dual 10.25-inch integrated displays — one for infotainment and another for the digital driver’s display — alongside a touch-sensitive panel for climate control.

However, the ambient lighting differs, with the Creta Electric offering a purple theme, while the ICE model sticks to an amber tone.

Both models share key comfort features, including:

For safety, both the Hyundai Creta Electric and the ICE-powered Creta come with six airbags (standard), electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor, front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and level-2 ADAS features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist.
The Creta Electric stands out with some exclusive features such as:
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality
Electric boss mode
A digital key enabling car access via a smartphone
A seatback table
An in-car payment system for charging through the infotainment screen

Just like the ICE version, the Creta Electric gets advanced technology and a modern interior experience. That said, its prices will be announced at the Auto Expo 2025 itself and we reckon, it might start with the tag of Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
