Did not get a good enough look at the Hyundai Venue yet? Examine all the angles from up close in these 20 detailed images.

  • Looks quite a lot like the Creta from this angle, doesn't it? The Venue carries the muscular bonnet and shoulder lines of its bigger brother and packs some serious attitude.
  • The Venue is a sub-4 metre SUV which will rival the likes of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra XUV300. But with the amount of features on offer, it is looking to set the bar higher in the segment.
  • The Venue will be launched in the country on May 21, with an expected price of Rs 7.2 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
  • The headlamps setup here is unique. The eyebrow works as the turn signals and the headlamps are tucked into the bumpers and encircled by LED DRLs. The fog lamps are placed further below, next to the air dam.
  • This looks especially good at twilight as the DRLs are bright and are a unique characteristic of the Venue.
  • From the side, the Venue looks exactly like a scaled down Creta. The tall bonnet, rising shoulder line and thick C-pillar give it an unmistakable SUV look.
  • The SUV is sitting on good looking dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels wearing 216/60 rubber.
  • From the rear three quarters, the Venue gets a clean layout along with a special red badge on the bottom right corner. More on that a bit later.
  • The taillamps are LED and gets a nice angular pattern. With all the exterior elements combined, the Venue looks like a premium SUV.
  • Coming back to the special red badge. The Venue ships with Hyundai's new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which makes an impressive 120PS of power and 172Nm of torque. This engine option can be had either with a new 7-speed DCT automatic or a 6-speed manual. This makes it one of the most powerful SUVs in the segment.
  • Other engine options available are a 1.2-litre petrol which makes 83PS of power and 115Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel engine in the lineup is a 1.4-litre motor that puts out 90PS of power and 220Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
  • The Venue gets an impressive cabin layout with a lot of convenience features including single-zone climate control, electric sunroof, cruise control, rear AC vents, wireless charger and an Arkamys sound system.
  • The Venue also gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls.
  • The 7-speed DCT has been developed in-house by Hyundai and is making its debut in India with the Venue.
  • Time for the big one. The Hyundai Venue is going to be the first made-in-India connected SUV. It gets an inbuilt eSIM with Idea-Vodafone network which enables GPS and GSM. This means you can remotely control the engine start/stop, climate control, door lock/unlock, horn honk and light flash and Find my car. It even supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can check out this link to know more about the connected features.
  • The instrument cluster looks sober with a conventional two dial setup along with a detailed MID in the middle.
  • The connected features also enable advanced safety features like emergency assist. Buttons for these are placed on the IRVM. We have dedicated an entire video on this system. Check it out here.
  • Oh yes, there are rear AC vents as well. Because, you know, it gets pretty hot here in the summers.
