Earlier in January 2013, ZigWheels reported that Hyundai will be hiking prices by as much as Rs 20,000 across its model range on February 1. The Korean car maker has now announced that it has hiked prices of its entire model line-up. The price hike ranges from Rs 4,201 for the Santro to Rs 20,878 for the Santa-Fe.
The price hike comes in as a measure to withstand the hike in input costs and inflation. Many car makers have announced price hikes across their model ranges due to the prevailing economic conditions. The ones remaining are expected to go down the same road soon.

Hyundai currently sells the Eon, Santro Xing, i10, i20, Accent, Verna, Elantra, Sonata and Santa Fe in India, with prices ranging from Rs 2.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the entry level Eon hatchback to Rs 25.63 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top end Santa Fe SUV.
