Hyosung Aquila 250 Limited Edition launched

Only 100 units of the limited edition Aquila 250, priced at Rs 2.94 lakh, ex-showroom, will go on sale to maintain exclusivity

DSK Hyosung has launched the limited edition of the Hyosung Aquila 250 cruiser bike. The new Hyosung Aquila 250 limited edition has been priced at Rs 2.94 lakh, ex-showroom. The special edition cruiser motorcycles will be offered in new shades of Matte Green, Carbon Black, and Desert Brown to distinguish them from the standard bikes. The Aquila 250 is the most affordable bike from the Korean two-wheeler brand in our market and is also its most popular offering. The limited edition can be seen as a strategy to drive the sales of the Aquila 250 as the bike hasn’t received any update since its launch a few years back.

Speaking about the cruiser motorcycle, Shirish Kulkarni, chairman, DSK Motowheels, said, “The DSK Hyosung Aquila 250 has been a high-demand cruiser in the sub-500cc market segment. In order to mark its success, we are proud to announce 100 limited edition units of the Aquila 250 which will be available in three trendy colours including matte green, carbon black and desert brown.

The Aquila 250 is brought in as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit and assembled at DSK Hyosung's facility in Wai near Pune. The Hyosung cruiser bike also holds the distinction of being the cheapest V-Twin engine cruiser on sale in India. As far as the motor is concerned, the 250cc, liquid-cooled mill delivers 26.5PS maximum power at a pretty high 9500rpm and just 21Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and it tips the scale at 179kg. It features telescopic front suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear, and has a fuel capacity of 14 litres.
