Honda partners with Tour De India 2013

Honda Motorcycle and scooter India, (HMSI) announced that it would join hands with Tour de India (TDI) 2013, the biggest cycling race in the country. As part of this it would supply the Honda CBR 250R for the event which would be used as the official lead bike for the TDI 2013 races. The event would be held on 15th, 17th and 22nd December 2013 in Mumbai, Jaipur and Delhi respectively.

Tour de India is our country’s largest International cycling event and the main intention of this event to promote cycling as a sport and to encourage youngsters to take up the sport. Bollywood star, John Abraham, who is a cycle enthusiast himself is the brand ambassador of the event and is the face of Tour de India for the next three years.

Speaking about the association, Y. S. Guleria, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, HMSI said, ‘’We are proud to be associated with an initiative like Tour De India. It will connect with the youth and motivate them to adopt cycling as a part of their regular sporting culture. Honda CBR250R is one of India’s favorite and most Awarded sports bike, and it would complement the young racing enthusiasts participating in Tour de India 2013.”
