Honda’s Brio-based MPV set to get an update at the Auto Expo, and the changes go deeper than the skin

Honda Mobilio to get an update

Honda recently unveiled an updated version of its MPV, the Mobilio in Indonesia so there is a good chance the updated Mobilio will make its way to India but only later in the year. The exterior design is more or less the same, the only changes outside being chrome highlights on the front bumper and a new design for the alloy wheels. Major changes are inside, as the updated Mobilio features a new dash borrowed from the company upcoming 7-seater crossover, the BR-V. It still follows the dual tone theme but control elements on the dash are different. The top of the line RS version will probably feature an all-black trim.

The interiors

The centre console is home to a touchscreen infotainment system which as is the norm now, doubles up as a display for the reversing camera. The instrument cluster with controls for the new climate control system are also new, from the BR-V again, and replace the three knobs with sleeker looking buttons. The round aircon vents are also on their way out and are replaced by rectangular vents placed high on the dashboard.
