Honda Inaugurates 100th Best Deal Outlet In Mumbai

An initiative that was started three years back, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has inaugurated its 100th ‘Best Deal’ outlet today. The new certified Honda pre-owned two-wheelers outlet has been opened in Mumbai and will be run by Jhaveri Honda. The company currently has Best Deal outlets in 70 cities in the country and has already sold over 45,000 pre-owned Honda two-wheelers.

Speaking on the milestone, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said: “As a pioneer, Honda introduced the concept of Certified Pre-owned Outlets - Best Deal. This allows us to create more touch-points of interacting with customers and also tap into the huge potential that the pre-owned 2wheeler market offers. Our experience shows that the pre-owned industry is evolving very fast. The replacement cycle for 2wheeler has come down from 7-8 years to 3-5 years in a decade. With shrinking replacement cycle of the 2wheeler industry, Honda sees immense future potential in pre-owned 2wheeler retails and we are aggressively scaling up this business. We aim to double the Best Deal count to 200 outlets in the next 2 years.”

Under the Best Deal concept, Honda will address both buyers and sellers in the market. Customers who already own a two-wheeler of any make can approach a Best Deal outlet and exchange it for a brand new Honda two-wheeler. Moreover, customers can also opt for a pre-owned Honda two-wheeler that has been certified by the company.

All the pre-owned Honda two-wheelers are refurbished with genuine spares and come with two free services, six months’ warranty and after-sales support. With this platform, Honda will ensure that all documents are verified thoroughly for complete transparency in deals which will be beneficial for both the buyer and seller.
