2017 Honda City Facelift First Drive Review

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has introduced a new variant of its current City sedan model. The new variant, termed as VX (O)-BL, will feature an all-new black interior with premium leather upholstery inked in black. The new variant will be available alongside the existing VX (O) variant which has beige leather interiors. The current model of the Honda City is the 4th generation series and appeals to a large population of young buyers in the present market scenario. The variant is equipped with a sunroof and Honda’s Advanced Integrated Touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation (AVN).
Moving to other new features, Honda will be providing dual SRS airbags as standard safety equipment across all variants of the Honda City in addition to ABS and EBD. The car manufacturer will also be providing all variants of the City with rear ISOFIX and top tether anchor for child seat fastening. With the above mentioned new features, the company claims to provide maximum safety to its customers in the segment.

The Honda City is one of the most highly preferred cars in the sedan segment in India. For the record, since the launch of the 4th generation City, Honda has been able to sell 1.6 lakh car in 2 years since its introduction. The new Honda City is available in six colour options- Orchid White Pearl, Carnelian Red Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White, and Urban Titanium Metallic.
