Hero retail sales cross 10 lakh units in festive season

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two wheeler manufacturer has clocked sales of over 10 lakh units in retail sales during the festive season this year.

Hero said in a statement that there’s been phenomenal customer response to its range of products, including new launches, achieved during the 35-day festive period, starting with the Navratras. In all, Hero MotoCorp grew 11 per cent over the corresponding period last year.

Hero’s new scooters – Maestro Edge and Duet – have attracted considerable customer interest and there has been phenomenal demand for the new Splendor PRO. Robust sales of Passion PRO and Glamour bikes, and the continuing popularity of Pleasure and Maestro scooters have resulted in the double digit growth.
