This year the legendary motorcycle company, Harley-Davidson, celebrates its 110th year anniversary and to commemorate the occasion, the American bike-maker showcased an entire line-up of special edition models of its current model range as well as unveiled two new models at the 2012 EICMA motorcycle show held in Milan, Italy.
While the limited edition models grabbed a lot of attention thanks to the chic-looking custom paint jobs and gorgeously crafted bodywork, it were the two latest additions to the CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) family, the Breakout and Road King which hogged most limelight at the Harley-Davidson exhibit at the show.
Based on the softail design, the Breakout is a high-performance model from the CVO line-up while joining it is the new CVO Road King which comes with an innovative vented windshield and a mighty street presence. On the occasion of the 110th anniversary Harley-Davidson also released a new Hard Candy Custom paint collection as well as upgrading some of its existing models like the Dyna Street Bob and the Street Glide. For 2013, the Hard Candy Custom schemes have been introduced onto the Sportster Seventy-Two and Forty-Eight, Dyna Street Bob and Softail Deluxe.
While the limited edition anniversary models from the Harley range include Dyna Super Glide Custom, Softail Fat Boy, Road King, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Heritage Softail Classic and Sporster 1200 Custom. Each model is numbered with a special badge. The anniversary celebrations will soon commence in June 2013 from Rome all the way till August 2013 culminating in Milwaukee.
