F-Pace Is The Fastest Selling Jaguar In Its History

Jaguar, which is synonymous with high-end luxury saloons, made its debut in the SUV segment with the F-Pace. With the latest reports released from Jaguar, it seems that it has turned out to be a very good decision for the company. The British manufacturer have declared the F-Pace as the fastest-selling vehicle in the company’s 94-year old history.

The SUV has broken all previous records for the manufacturer and Jaguar states that the remarkable sales figure have even exceeded their ‘most optimistic’ expectations from the F-Pace.  Jaguar has sold more than 30,000 units of the car since its launch in April this year. Moreover, in Jaguar’s online survey, the manufacturer found that as much as 16 lakh people have shown interest in the SUV on their official website. Out of these, 370000 people have configured the F-Pace with its every detail.

 Jeremy Hicks, JLR UK’s managing director said, "The response to F-Pace around the world has been sensational. Demand for the car in the UK has exceeded our most optimistic assumptions."

The company also revealed that 90 percent of the buyers are new to the Jaguar brand and are in an age group ranging between 40 and 50 years.

The company has also stated that if the demand keeps on rising it could introduce another assembly line in its Solihull plant to cater to the rising demand.

The F-Pace was showcased at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo early this year, however, it is yet to be launched in the country.
