To celebrate its second birthday in the country, the car maker has launched a 360-degree campaign, across 230 outlets that will be on all through March

India’s most-acclaimed premium hatchback from the American car maker, Ford Figo is celebrating its second birthday. To mark this occasion, the company has initiated a 360-degree campaign across 230 outlets in the country. The programme involves its highly active social platform where it invites Figo customers and fans to take part in the festivities and know about the car’s success story.

The car also completed its 1.50 lakh sales milestone. Nigel Wark, Executive Director, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford India, said, “Despite a dip in the auto industry last year, the Figo has continued to witness growth not only in the domestic market, where it now has 1.5 lakh proud and happy owners, but also in export markets. As we celebrate this wonderful journey with this innovative new campaign, we would like to thank all our customers, both in India and abroad, for the confidence they have shown in the Figo as a product and the loyalty they have shown towards the brand.”

The 360-degree campaign aims to drive engagement using different platforms like advertisements, radio promotion, on ground events and service camps at dealerships across the country to celebrate the occasion. And in order to involve more social media engagement, the company has also made animated clips on inviting consumers to come and join the celebrations at Ford dealerships across the country.


After its entry in the Indian premium hatchback segment, the car won many accolades including the ET-ZigWheels 2010 Car of the Year award.
