DSK Benelli Receives Overwhelming Response in Goa; Launches FC Goa Edition

DSK Benelli, which is amongst the fastest growing superbike brands in the country, has registered good sales in Goa. The Italian motorcycle manufacturer has sold 151 bikes in its first year of operations in the state. According to Benelli, it is the highest-selling superbike brand in the city in a year’s window.

The 151st bike was delivered to a Goan customer by Shirish Kulkarni, chairman, DSK Motowheels, along with members of ISL superstars of the FC Goa team. At this occasion, the company also launched a special-edition DSK Benelli TNT 25 with FC Goa livery. 

The special edition dons an orange and purple wrap that’s reminiscent of the FC Goa club jersey, and features the team’s insignia on the fuel tank.  

Speaking on the occasion, Shirish Kulkarni said, “When it comes to performance, power, agility, endurance and control are factors of vital importance, so there’s a lot that is similar between a professional football player and a best-in-breed superbike. The intense passion for football and biking that the people of Goa harbour is no secret, so we decided to celebrate our milestone of the fastest sale of 151 superbikes in the city, by blending both these passions. The unveiling of the TNT 25 wrapped in the Forca Goa livery has further added to the success of today’s event, showcasing our support to the FC Goa team.”

The TNT 25 is street-oriented bike and is powered by a single cylinder, liquid-cooled 249cc engine, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motor is good for a decent 28.16PS of power and 21.61Nm of peak torque.
