Delhi Auto Expo 2012 : Peugeot showcase plans

The French car maker Peugeot is all set to enter the Indian car market with their entry level luxury sedan, the 508. The 508 is an exceptionally contemporary car when it comes to looks and that should be its ticket to ramp up sales figures. With an expected price tag of Rs. 20-25 lakh, the 508 has been designed to go up against established cars such as the Honda Accord, the Toyota Camry, the Volkswagen Passat and the Skoda Superb. 

Peugeot will also showcase the RCZ sports coupe at the Expo. The RCZ is a very good looking take on a two-door sports coupe largely because of the way it looks. The car has been on sale since 2010 across markets all over the world. The RCZ can be had  with either a 1.6 litre petrol engine or a 2.0 litre diesel engine. 

We also suspect that there will be atleast one if not more hatchbacks at the Peugeot stall at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Considering the fact that India is an explosive hatchback market, Peugeot would at least consider showcasing some of their hatchbacks to gather customer feedback for their extensive range of hatchbacks.
